Buying a one-time credit top-up that never expires
Beyond your monthly plan grant, you can buy one-time credit top-ups. Unlike a subscription's monthly credits, top-up credits never expire — they sit in your balance until you use them.
The three packs
Top-ups come in three sizes:
- $10 → 700 credits
- $25 → 1,750 credits
- $100 → 7,000 credits
Each pack carries the same 30% platform margin as the plans (credits = price × 100 × 0.70), so there's no arbitrage between buying a plan and buying a top-up. One credit is worth $0.01 of actual inference value.
How to buy
Top-ups are purchased through Stripe checkout. From the billing area's capacity card, use the "Add capacity" top-up button; this opens a one-time Stripe Checkout. After payment, the Stripe webhook grants the credits to your account, and the grant is idempotent — even if Stripe retries the delivery, you're never double-credited. On success you're returned to your dashboard.
When top-ups make sense
Top-ups are ideal if you occasionally exceed your monthly plan allotment, or if you're on the Free tier and want a bit more managed-inference headroom without committing to a subscription. Because they don't expire, you can buy ahead of a heavy build and draw the balance down whenever you need it.
If you bring your own OpenRouter key, your runs are unmetered and you won't need top-ups at all.
