How a contact-form submission becomes a HubSpot support ticket
When you submit the contact form on /help, it does more than send an email — it opens a tracked support ticket so your request does not get lost.
What happens on submit
The form posts your subject and message to HIIE's feedback endpoint, which creates a ticket in HubSpot (HIIE's support system). Once the ticket is created, the form confirms that your feedback was submitted and a ticket was created. If the HubSpot integration is not configured in a given environment, your feedback is still received and the form lets you know.
Required details
Both a subject and a message are required. If either is missing, the submission is rejected with a prompt to fill them in. Keep the subject short and specific, and use the message to explain what you expected versus what happened.
Why a ticket matters
A ticket gives your request a tracked identity inside HubSpot, so support can pick it up, follow up, and resolve it rather than treating it as a one-off note.
Getting a reply
So that support can respond, make sure they can reach you. If you submit while signed in, your Clerk account email is attached to the ticket automatically on the server — you do not type it in. If you submit while signed out, include a way to contact you in the message itself.
