What the Idea Lab brief and file uploads are used for
The Idea Lab asks for two things: a brief describing your idea and, optionally, file uploads. Both feed directly into how HIIE sets up and works on your project.
The brief
Your brief is the plain-language description of what you want to build. It does real work right away:
- It seeds the project's summary — the summary is derived from the brief (the first portion of what you wrote), so a clear brief gives you a clear project summary.
- It's the starting context Camelia uses. When you choose "Build the complete project," Camelia's autonomous build works from what you described. Throughout the project, Camelia stays grounded in your real project context.
A focused, specific brief therefore pays off: it shapes both the summary and the direction of any autonomous build.
File uploads
You can attach files in the Idea Lab to give HIIE supporting context for your project. Uploaded files are stored encrypted, consistent with how all project data is handled — encrypted at rest in Cloudflare D1, scoped to your account.
After submission
Once you submit, the project is created and you choose a build path. From that point, your brief and any files are part of the project's context that Camelia and the specialist sub-agents can draw on as they produce documents, designs, flows, and analysis.
Keeping it useful
Think of the brief as the founding statement of the project and uploads as the reference material. The more clearly each describes your intent, the better HIIE can route and build the work for you.
