'Build the complete project' vs 'Start from scratch': which path to pick

After you create a project in the Idea Lab, HIIE asks you to choose one of two co-equal paths. Both end up in the same place — inside your new project's canvas — but they differ in how much Camelia does up front.

Build the complete project

Pick this when you want HIIE to take your brief and run with it. Camelia kicks off an autonomous build of the project. The build runs in the background, and progress shows in a status toast (bottom-right) so you can keep working while it goes.

This is the right choice when you have a clear idea and want a first pass at documents, designs, flows, and a business model produced for you.

Start from scratch

Pick this when you'd rather build things up yourself. You get an empty project and drive the work manually — chatting with Camelia, generating designs, creating flows, and adding documents as you go.

This suits exploratory work, or cases where you want tight control over each step rather than a full autonomous pass.

They're truly co-equal

Neither path is a "lite" version. Both create a real, fully functional project and land you on the canvas at /<projectId>/canvas. The only difference is the starting state: a Camelia-built project versus an empty one.

You're not locked in

Even if you start from scratch, Camelia and all the specialist sub-agents are available the whole time. You can ask her to build, design, or research at any point — so choosing "Start from scratch" simply means you begin with a blank slate, not fewer capabilities.
