Editable settings: organization, timezone, language, and default model
The Settings section of your Account page holds the preferences you can change yourself. These are saved to your encrypted account bucket and loaded back the next time you visit.
What you can edit
- Organization — a profile field for your company or team name.
- Timezone — a profile field used to anchor your account's time context. Where unset, profile fields like organization and timezone prefill from your browser.
- Language / locale — sets the language Camelia replies in (the interface itself stays in English).
- Default model — the model Camelia uses by default for your work.
- Two privacy toggles — "Platform learning" and "Auto-approve integrations," both off by default.
How saving works
Your settings are loaded via the account settings API and saved when you update them. The values are persisted to your encrypted account bucket, so your preferences follow your account rather than living only in the browser.
What you cannot edit here
Your name and email are read-only — they come from Clerk and are shown on the identity card, not in the editable form. So Settings is specifically for preferences (org, timezone, locale, default model) and the two privacy toggles, while identity is managed through your Clerk profile.
A note on defaults
Because profile fields can prefill from your browser when they're empty, it's worth reviewing organization and timezone the first time you open Settings to confirm they match what you intend.
